About Us..

 My wife (Vicki) and I (Paul) have had a dream for many years to open a small store to pursue her passion for making flower arrangements, wreaths. and bows. Pretty much a numerous list of crafty things. If sees it, she can make it. She has made numerous of arrangements in the past for family and friends for their special occasions and gifts. For years she has been encouraged that she needed to pursue her passion as a business. We are a family owned and family run business. When you shop with us you’ll see on occasion the whole family to include our daughter Sydney that takes a big part in running things as well.

The Name G.R.I.T.S. stands for (Girls Raised in the South). We have had that named picked out for many years. Life and Family always kept us from taking a leap of faith and going for it. Summer of 2020, with everything else going on in the world, we had the calling to take the leap and help rejuvenate our little town and our customers tells us all the time they are grateful that we are here and hope we stay !!!

What we offer… 

Currently we offer a variety of home decor and gifts. Our style has a farmhouse/country style. We try to keep a variety of items in stock to keep everything fresh for our customers. About 75% of Our are made in North Carolina by local craftsman. We pride ourselves in supporting local craftsmen. We have everything from Local made jewelry to custom made wood crafts. In the near future we will also offer plush gifts and balloons. Making balloon arrangements and bouquets. Shopping a local/small boutique is so much more personal. That is what we strive for. Keeping things more personal and offering what our customers want and need.
